Oh my God the keyboard is French... about 6 letters are in the wrong place... and to my great happiness I've heard that they're like this all the way through Morocco, and beyond... so excuse me if I type a "Q" for an "A" or something like thqt...
I landed in Gibraltar on time, at 8:45 p.m. I had decided not to stay there overnight, seeing as there was nothing really to see or do in Gibraltar, and it is pricey! The weather was good (13C and calm) so, after a rapidfire bike assembly, I slid out into the Mediterranean night.
After crossing into Spain the road got hilly, and I was put to the test early early in the trip. I wasn't really in a rush, so I was able to take it easy and ride extremely defensively. Either way I made it to Algeciras easily, and grabbed a room. The ferry to Morocco leaves from here tomorrow morning.
